This unusual property is in a great location, a 5 minute walk from Hyde Park and equidistant (10 minutes) from Lancaster Gate, Queensway and Bayswater (Central, District and Circle lines) underground stations. Perfectly situated for tourists and business travellers, with good local restaurants, bars and shopping – you literally have everything you need on your doorstep. Wireless internet is provided.

There are two unusual aspect to this flat. The first is that it has its own entry from the street, eight steps leading up to a very smart front-door that gives the appearance of entering a grand town house, the other is the unusual layout of the large living area (21ft x 20ft4, 6.4m x 6.2m). This is not your usual living space, here you’ll find cosy nooks and attractive alcoves which house bookshelves stacked with books and a cupboard which cleverly hides a TV which plays Freeview channels. There’s also a nice selection of classic art dotted around and a pair of comfortable two-seater sofas where you can feel right at home. The apartment’s traditional decor adds to its charm.

There is a cosy little dining space (10ft3 x 10ft1, 3.1m x 3m) between the living area and the kitchen with a dining table with four chairs.

The traditional-style kitchen (9ft8 x 9ft5, 2.9m x 2.8) has tiled walls and cream cabinets. This is a good-sized space which provides everything you need for your stay including an oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge. You’ll find the washing/dryer hidden away discreetly in the hallway cupboard.

The master bedroom (12ft2 x 10ft1, 3.7m x 3m) has a floral theme. There’s a fitted wardrobe, bedside tables with lamps and a queen-size bed (6ft6 x 5ft).

The second bedroom (9ft5 x 6ft, 2.9m x 1.8m) shares the same classic style with floral-themed art and furnishings, and a mirrored fitted wardrobe. One side of the double bed (6ft3 x 4ft6) is against a wall, so access is only from one side and there’s just one bedside table.

The shared modern bathroom has white tiled walls, a bath with over-shower, basin and loo.

You will find a whole host of local restaurants, bars, cafes and shops to explore. A little further afield, 2 stops on the tube or a 5 minute bus ride will take you to Marble Arch and Oxford Street – one of London’s principal shopping streets.
